DIG held an early-years session on 'the Sunny South', with stories and toys for under 5s.
And last, but not least, Aardman Animations co-founder Peter Lord gave a fascinating talk at the Ron Cooke Hub - with a packed audience.
Today we have The Dam Busters showing at City Screen (and today's also the last day to catch the Barnes Wallis exhibition at the Merchant Adventurers' Hall), talks on Bob Dylan and Richard III at the Berrick Saul building and lots more. Check our website for further details.
The folks at York Cocoa House held a session at the Mansion House looking at the ingredients and recipes that made York 'the chocolate city'.
The Yorkshire Museum hosted 'Storytelling: Tales from Yorkshire' - exploring York's Anglo-Saxon heritage through artefacts on display in the museum.
Art and social value was the topic of the day in the New School House Gallery. Robert Teed and Paula Jackson examined the capacity of art as a vehicle for social change.
